Packers and Packagers, Hand -- SOC 53-7064

For unskilled work, packers and packagers, hand provide a wide occupational base.  The DOT lists 59 codes ranging in exertion from sedentary to heavy and in skill level from 1 to 4 (just four occupations at 3 and one at 4).  Here is the code list:

That's the starting point for the number of jobs at each exertional level.  Limitations on sitting for sedentary work, standing/walking for light or medium work will significantly erode the number of jobs even if the limitation is six of eight hours in a day.  Sedentary workers sit continually or almost continually; light and medium workers stand/walk continually or almost continually.
