Bakery Worker, Conveyor Line - 524.687-022 - Occasional Handling, No Fingering

We used the SCO and the aptitudes for dexterity to show that there really are not a significant number of jobs for a person limited to light work (six hours of standing/walking), occasional handling, and no fingering. There is more than one to tackle the problem. We look at bakery worker, conveyor line (DOT 524.687-022) through the O*Net and Occupational Requirements Survey.

Bakery worker, conveyor line (DOT 524.687-022) belongs to crossing guards (SOC 51-3099 and 51-9199). Bakery worker, conveyor line are not addressed in the O*NET OnLine. Both group end in "9" and are "all other" classifications. The Occupational Requirements Survey provides useful data about the occupational group of production workers, all other (51-9199), but not for food processing workers, all other (51-3099) in the 2017 data.
